A Word About Life and Things

The Test

Everyone of us takes a test, sometimes we take a lot of tests. When we are in school the teacher will give us a test, to see what we have learned. Some jobs require us to take a test to see where we are to be placed. God will test us from time to time to see if we will follow his commandants. We live in a time that requires a lot of tests.

The Pardon Test. - God sent His Son to take our sins and our death. He died for us and He forgives us of our sins. Do we forgive those around us, of their sins against us? When we accept Jesus as our Redeemer, He expects us to treat the people around us and do what He has done for us.

The Power Test. - All power comes from God. That also goes for promotion and success in the things we do. Do we give Him the glory for what He has done for us? We also submit our selves to our elders and to each other. It is God who gives us the power to get wealth, for this reason, that He may establish His covenant in the earth, and to be a blessing to others.

The Prophetic Test. - God sent Joseph to Egypt as a slave, to save Israel. Joseph went through many things as a slave, but it was for the good of Israel. God also has purpose for us. Even if we have not received a word from God, He still has a purpose for your life. God’s desire for you, is to fulfill His word in you.

The Prosperity Test. - We live under a curse. God wants to bring you out from under the curse. You will never get rid of the curse until you start giving the tithe and offerings, that already belong to Him. The tithe will be taken by the enemy, if we do not give it to God. Jesus was a tithe for us. When Israel went into the promise land, Jericho was a tithe to the Lord. The tithe is not ours to give. God said to bring the tithe, not give. God said the tithe is His, and it is Holy. Everything belongs to God. Even the money we have. When we tithe, we are given back to God, what He already owns.

God has a purpose for everything he has made. You have a purpose. We all have a purpose in this life. God said. “His word goes forth from His mouth and will not return void. It shall prosper in the thing for which He sent it.” We are all tested in one way or another. We are tested every time we get paid. Do we bring the tithe into His house? The tithe is the first ten percent of our increase. Or do we keep what belongs to God? Do we honor Him in the things we do and say? Everything belongs to our God, He just lets us use it, while we are here on this earth. We should not hold tight the things of this earth. We should give Him all the glory, that already belongs to Him. We are here for one reason only, and that is to be a blessing.
