A Word About Life and Things

Regrets

If we live long enough we have things in our past that we regret. We get mad and blow our top, and we say things, that looking back, we wish we had not said that. There are many things that we wish we could change in our past. There are many things in our past that we regret saying or doing. Welcome to the human race. We are all in the same boat. We all have regrets for the things in our past. We are all sinners. When Adam and Eve sinned they welcomed sin into all of our lives. We are all born into sin from our birth. We did nothing at birth, but we are still sinners from our birth. As we grow and become teenagers we sin more and more. We wish we could overcome our sins, But sin is in our nature. That is who we are. Our life is filled with regrets.

We can not overcome sin by ourselves. We need help. I don’t mean a psychiatrist. I mean the Maker of our souls. Our God has prepared a way for us to be redeemed. That was the purpose that Jesus came to earth. Jesus was God the Son, and he gave up His throne to become a human, just like us. He lived 33 years and did not sin. He gave His life and His blood for each and every one of us. He rose the third day, and sits at the right hand of God the Father. There is no other way into Heaven. No matter what other people may say, there is no other way. It is by the blood of Jesus that we are redeemed. And we have no regrets, because we are now the a child of God, our Father.
